Pollyanna O’Hair (she/her) is an MFA candidate in Technical Direction at the University of Connecticut. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Arts and Entertainment Technologies in 2021.

 

She is currently transitioning into technical direction and design. Her work focuses on finding safe and practical technical solutions that align with the designer's vision.

She believes that incredible technology shapes how we experience the world, and by leveraging it, we can create unique, diverse, and exciting work that resonates with people from all walks of life.

 

Previous work includes Assistant Technical Director for “Living Dead in Denmark” (Connecticut Repertory Theatre), I.A.T.S.E. stagehand for the 2025 World Pride Rally and “A Capital Fourth Concert” in DC, and Production Manager for Chamber Music Maryland.
